LCN-DDR
The LCN-DDR is an interface for controlling digital ballasts with DALI or DSI protocol for operation on the T-port of an LCN-UPP, LCN-UP24 or LCN-UPS module.
Fields of application:
- For integration of LCN bus modules with DSI or DALI ECGs for electronic dimming of fluorescent lamps.
The LCN DDR control line is referenced to N potential. When used with LCN-UPS or LCN-UP24, the outputs for switching off the ballasts are missing. Therefore, the DSI ECGs are operated on continuous phase, which is in accordance with the ballast manufacturer’s recommendations. However, the ECGs of individual manufacturers differ. Use a programming device of the respective ECG manufacturer for address assignment. With LCN modules from 08/2004, parallel operation with EIB pushbutton interfaces is possible. The LCN-DDR module cannot be operated in conjunction with LCN-LSH, LCN-AD1 or LCN-GT glass pushbutton panels with display.
